Step 1
Gather your supplies
Step 2
Create Tab
(Good Idea to create one as a template)
Measurements:
3 3/4 " long
1 & 1/2 " wide
Decorate and laminate
Step 3
Decorate Your Envelope and Tab
Can decorate both sides -
Side showing and opposite side.
Step 4
Laminate
Find a local laminating store. I go to Lakeshore which is a teachers' supply store.
Laminate both tab and envelope. Make sure envelope is open. If it is a peel and seal envelope you can take that strip off, if desired, prior to lamination.
Contact paper works as an alternative but lamination is best.
Open sealed part of envelope with scissors by following the opening with one blade of scissors (one or more times) slicing open. Be careful, not to press too hard, as to not rip through.
Step 5
Add Paper, Tab and Velcro Stickers
Start by inserting the Tab into the Bottom end of the envelope so you can staple this in at the same time as the paper.
Insert from the inside of the envelope.
Cut about 20 pages (10 full pages cut in half) to fit, staple on Bottom end of the envelope along with closure Tab.
Add Velcro stickers. I recommend putting the whole sticker (top and bottom) on one side and then closing the flap. Pull Velcro apart carefully the first time so it does not unstick.
